School of Pharmacy

School of pharmacy and research was established in 2010.This school is offering several specialized professional courses like Bachelor of pharmacy, Diploma in pharmacy, Laboratory medicine (u/i), Physiotherapy (u/i) and Nursing (u/i).Moreover, School of medicine under the department of pharmacy offering M. Pharm. For PhD program department of pharmacy also developed special research laboratories for PhD research scholar  in all the five disciplines of pharmacy. B. Pharmacy and D. pharmacy course has been started with 60 seats. And M. Pharmacy has 20 seats for each of its four programs.

The School of medicine developed well equipped laboratories and lecture theatres such as natural products labs, Microbial and Pharmaceutical Technology lab. Pharmacology Lab., Advanced Chemistry Facilities lab and other state of art research laboratories under preparation.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) Two years course


  • 10+2 with PCB securing at least 45% marks in the aggregate and also in the aggregate of PCB.
  • Appeared in the interview conducted by Shridhar University.
  • Completed the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of taking admission as per PCI norms.

Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharma): 4 years (Eight semester course)


  • 10+2 with PCB securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Qualified AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test for MBBS Programme) conducted by CBSE.
  • Completed the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of taking admission as per PCI norms.
  • Non AIPMT applicants may be considered on the basis of merit in qualifying examination-cum-interview of Shridhar University .

Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Two years (four semesters)    

  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  • Pharmaceutics
  • Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry
  • Pharmacology 
  • Quality Assurance


  • Passed B.Pharm or any other examination recognized by Shridhar University and AICTE, securing at least 50% marks in the aggregation of theory papers and practicals.
  • Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by Shridhar University

Ph.D. Programmes (minimum Three years)

  • Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutics with specialization in Quality Assurance
  • Pharmacognosy. 
  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry 
  • Pharmacology and Pharmacology with specialization in Pharmacy Practice


  • Passed M.Pharm. from Shridhar University or any other institution recognised by AICTE and Shridhar University  in the relevant subject with atleast 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade
  • Candidate having M.Sc. degree in Clinical Research with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade shall be eligible to be considered for admission to Ph.D. programme in pharmacology subject to the condition that he/she possesses B.Pharm. degree.
  • The candidates from Bio Science/ Life Science stream with NET-JRF/NET-LS may also apply for different disciplines in Ph.D. in pharmacy.
  • Appeared in the Entrance Test/Interview or both conducted by Shridhar University.
